Stockholm Double Century - Not just Epic, but Olympic!
200 miles around Lake Mälaren
Saturday 8 August 2015
In 1912 South African Rudolph Lewis won the Olympic Time Trial over 320 km. You have now the opportunity to follow his tracks around the beautiful Lake Mälaren in the 2015 ride. Start and finish in Stockholm.

The distance is 325 km or 200 miles. The start takes place early Saturday morning on 8 August 2015 at 06.00 at Welcome Hotel in Barkarby. Race Secretariat is open from 04.30.

This event is done as a randonneur brevet, which means that the route is not marked and you go by a cue sheet, a GPS track or join one of four groups with road captains. The groups have an average speed of 24-27 kph, 28-30 kph and 30-32 kph respectively. You do the conversion into mph (!) In adddition we offer the all-out Berserk group, which spends very little time at pit stops.

If you can match your speed against the 1912 Olympic winner at 10h 42 min in individual pursuit (time-trial) you will receive the Rudolph Lewis Award. (Very few can)
